Shuttle Services:

Coastal Camp works with Michael's Transportation to offer convenient transportation options from San Francisco and Marin County. Select your preferred shuttle option during the registration process. If you would like to sign up after you have registered, see our FAQs for instructions.

We contract a bus and driver through Michael’s Transportation. They employ professional, full-time drivers who put the safety of the kids on the bus above all else. Oftentimes, our driver is a familiar face who regularly works with a local school. We typically have the same driver all summer, barring them taking time off for illness or vacation. All busses will have a Coastal Camp staff member on board.

Please note: 

  • Campers riding the shuttle do not need to register or pay for early or extended care.

  • Times listed are subject to daily traffic conditions.

  • Please arrive early for the scheduled pick-up and drop-off times. Our bus schedule is tight and we depart promptly at the scheduled times. We cannot wait for late pickup or drop-offs.

  • Campers riding early morning or late afternoon bus from San Francisco will participate in extended care. They will not be on the bus the entire time. Extended care is included in the cost of these busses.

  • Our bus timing is our best approximation, but keep in mind that we are subject to the current traffic conditions. If we know the bus is running more than 10 minutes behind schedule, we will update you via email as soon as possible.

SF riders can chose which morning and which afternoon stop best fits their schedule. When possible, we encourage Kinder campers to ride the late AM and early PM bus, as the longer day can be tiring for our youngest campers.

Marin Bus Stops

Marin riders can chose which stop bests fits their schedule for the week. We highly encourage Kinder campers to get on and off at either Marin City or Manzanita Park & Ride, as the longer day can be tiring for our youngest campers.
